A is not true. random genetic mutation must be a bigger contributor. the closest thing to a real answer is D, though all of B - D confuse the issue. the correct answer, not on the script, is that natural selection decides which random genetic mutation is better. and this, in the way that we perceive time, takes a long long time. so D.
