Hi I’m Elijah Southard and I’m doing a research paper on how video gaming started and how much it’s grown since it first started....

So video gaming started way back in the 1950's, when academics started designing simple games, simulators, and many artificial intelligence programs as part of their research in computer science.

Later on in the 1970's and 1980's arcade games, gaming consuls, and home computer games were introduced to the public. Since that time gaming has excelled and become part of modern culture in most parts of the world.
