I am a parent of 5, and I definitely do not focus on the negative aspects. That would be devastating to my children's self esteem, self confidence, etc...Now do I correct them when they are wrong or do something wrong...absolutely, but I also explain why that was wrong. Bottom line..parents should not focus on the negative. Focus should be placed on the positives, but the negatives should always be addressed!! My thoughts anyway!!
