period is 2pi/the number of in front of x there
\[y=A \sin(Bx-C)=D \] period is 2pi/B
y=sin(x) on [0,2pi] looks like |dw:1427142283791:dw| This is one period if we play with the number in front of x y=sin(Bx) we play with the period
