OpenStudy (wmj259):

First notice that there's a 4 factor in 4,16,16. so you can simplify the equation by dividing everything by 4.

OpenStudy (wmj259):

x^2-4x+4 is your remainder.

OpenStudy (wmj259):

Here you can factor the equation. What added together gives you negative 4, but multiplied together gives you positive 4?

OpenStudy (bookworm14):

it factors to (x-2)^2 correct?

OpenStudy (bookworm14):

hello? dont leave me when I am so confused!! lol
