@BloomLocke367

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me?

OpenStudy (radar):

What is the sum of the angles in a triangle equal to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm can i find it by going like.... 70+70 =__ 180-__?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause in that case 40

OpenStudy (radar):

Great solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x=40?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Ash<3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you kno what the sum of the angles are then you will have your answer because you know that the 70 degree angle is congruent to the other side meaning both are equal to 70 so you would take the sum of all the angles and subtract i70 +70 which you got from the first two angles from the sum of all the angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sooo does that mean x= 40 orrrr no...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you have 70+70 the two congruent sides which would equal 140 so you take 180 the sum of all the angles and subtract the 140 from it to equal 40 degrees so yes you are correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! I am your first fan!! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cool thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep!
