\[ \int 4x^7 dx \] add one to the power, then divide the whole thing by the raised power \[ \int 4x^7 dx = \frac{4}{8}x^8+C \] General form is \[\int ax^n dx= \frac{a}{n+1}x^{n+1}+C\]
