OpenStudy (dtan5457):

I like to do the borrow payback method. quadratics are expressed as ax^2+bx+c 4x^2-12x+9 multiply a by c. x^2-12x+36 factor this (x-6)(x-6) plug back in the value of a (4x-6)(4x-6) divide both by 2. (2x-3)(2x-3) you can now solve for x if you'd like.
