I'm getting -2, 0, 2 as my critical points... Am I missing something?

Hope this helps.

Are my critical points right? I get that it's declining when the derivative is neg and increasing when positive, just don't see the problem with my answer.

OpenStudy (majikdusty):

For critical points I got 0, sqrt(2), -sqrt(2) For the derivative I got 4x^3 + 8x Then you can reduce it by 4x (im assuming you did 2x?) 4x(x^2 - 2) At this point the inside just becomes a difference of squares! Hope this helps

Thank you looks like I did just a little simple screw up :)

Glad I could help:)
