The industrial revolution was an important area that changed the way business was done in the agricultural, textile and metal fields. It changed transportation too as automobiles and airplanes were created during this time.
When you think of the Industrial Revolution think "manufacturing" because in industrialized nations most of the products that people were using were being massed produced in factories. Factories were a dangerous place to work, and child labor was not out of bounds.
The industrial revolution brought a new way to do manual work, by bringing in machines, in place of having human workers.
