Which equation represents the graph of the linear function? A. y = −4x + 4 B. y = −4x − 4 C. y = 4x + 4 D. y = 4x − 4
The line for a linear function has to be straight.
I think it's C
http://www.mathpapa.com/algebra-calculator.html Look at this link, enter in the answer choices, then come back to us, and tell us what you think. Okay?
what number does the line hit on the Y axis?
It's C. You know the graph has a positive slope because the line is ascending (going up). you use y=mx+b so you're starting point (b) is a POSITIVE 4. plug in your numbers to the formula and it gives you y=4x+4.
It's C @Najia2000
Yea, i know. I was trying to follow the code of conduct, and help you out without giving you the answer. Btw, did you use the link?
I did use it @Najia2000 .. Thank you xD
Your welcome! You should use that link often. It will help you out with graphs, and linear inequalities and what not!
I will
