learn windows registry.
download linux
learn linux command line
learn metasploit
learn internet protocols such as tcp and udp
download wireshark.
read lots of books!!!!!! (have a book on each of the above topics)

The unfortunate thing about learning how to exploit computers is that it takes practice on real targets. The unfortunate part is that exploiting other peoples computers will land you in jail if your not an expert. The only reason you should get into "Hacking" ( such a vague term) is if you are passionate about internet security. And you also enjoy reading long boring books about what operating systems looks like under the hood.
