OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

Part of the cellular endomembrane system, the Golgi apparatus packages proteins into membrane-bound vesicles inside the cell before the vesicles are sent to their destination.

so its A?

yeas

ok thx :)

@AlexandervonHumboldt2 but is the Golgi involved in the physical transport of proteins/carbs/lipids? Its primary function is in the packaging of these things to be exocytosed, or sent elsewhere throughout the cell, but the actual transport mechanism is carried out by the budding membranes on the trans Golgi face that produces vesicles, which are the organelles carrying out the actual transport. To be fair, the question's phrasing is vague enough to suggest either of the first two options may be correct, but I'm leaning more strongly toward vesicles rather than the Golgi apparatus.
