OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh I get it. It's a lot like bridges in songs. Official definition: a passage in a literary work or a scene in a play serving as a movement between two other passages or scenes of greater importance.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, hang on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So let's say if I were to use an example from a randomly made up story: Lilian gazed at the lion with tears in her eyes. She knew this was the end of the line, but there was one thing she had to do before she left this world. She whipped out her notebook and began to write. BRIDGE: Everything was dead silent besides the gentle strokes of her pencil against paper. The lion continued approaching her, slowly and steadily. She shut the notebook and placed it on the dirt ground. Lilian looked at the notebook one last time, and then jumped off the cliff with tears in her eyes. She remembered papa, mama, and Willy as she let herself be engulfed by the water below. For once, she felt completely at peace. "I'm coming, Herald." She whispered as she shut her eyes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Two paragraphs of importance and one bridge linking them both together.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you very much!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i get it much better now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yw ^^
