u'll damage some cells right?

so these damaged cells have to be replaced by exact same type of cells (genetically identical)

thats one of the reasons we need mitosis
the next reason is
think of you as a child
a baby
tiny baby with small mass
and then you grow to be size as you age

well as you can see one of them is replacing damaged cells, and another one is growth
