WILL GIVE MEDAL A box has 8 beads of the same size, but all are different colors. Tamy draws a bead randomly from the box, notes its color, and then puts the bead back in the box. She repeats this 3 times. What is the probability that Tamy would pick a red bead on the first draw, then a white bead, and finally a red bead again?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it could be 3/8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@helper2222

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to find the possibility

OpenStudy (luffingsails):

Consider that you are drawing with replacement (very important to note). So, what you are looking at is (in words): Probability of drawing red AND Probability of drawing white AND Probability of drawing red. How do you calculate P(A) and P(B)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dude he is not here no more

OpenStudy (luffingsails):

lol... well. If anyone else is looking then.
