you should explain why that is the answer, not merely write one of the options.

Wow, that is a horrible question. Evolution is always occurring between generations. Does not always result in changes but it is there. Since we usually now think of genes as the unit that evolution works on, the change in allele frequencies is near the textbook definition of how evolution occurs.
