Which sentence uses a verb that agrees with its pronoun subject? A. One of those old postage stamps is worth a fortune. B. Each of the soccer players are wearing green shorts. C. Everyone here know Mr. and Mrs. Green. D. Something in these rooms smell odd. @pikachump @NeonStrawsForever
A
I have to go finish my essay for English. I'm sorry! best of luck. :)
hi inowalst havent talked in a long time
I do not think it is A. Any other guesses?
Is there any reason you think it's A?
C
KNow should be Knows in C
my last guess was D
Sorry, I meant. A is right because "one" is singular and "is" is singular, as well. If it said, Those......worth a fortune, THEN it would have to be "are" because its talking about a group of them.
oh lol
hey nw poeple know why
I thought it was B... oops. Good job @inowalst
Something in these rooms smell odd. When you read that out loud it sounds wrong. It talks about "rooms" meaning plural so it should be "smells."
