I wrote a research paper earlier this semester on Nuclear Fusion which is an alternative, renewable energy source that could solve all of our energy problems virtually forever. It's what stars use for their energy. You could write about that or space, pick something that you have always been curious about those kinds of things are always fun to research.

I mean, whatever you're interested in. I often write papers on feminism or rape or usually just any controversial topic (I'm in a journalism class at my local college) As long as you can keep the conversation under control and appropriate, whatever you want to write.
