well, all dogs are ncluded in the same species, no matter what type of breed. they all started from the wolves, and many factors have caused an outbreak of so many breeds. for example: cross breeding, or natural selection. cross breeding being different breeds of wolves and other dogs breed with a different breed, and natural selection being the evolution of the species to fit their environment.
