A machine drops 74 milliliters of liquid into a beaker every minute. Using an empty beaker, Sarah started the machine and left the room. When she returned, the beaker had 1,850 milliliters of liquid in it. Select the correct operation that can be used to find the time in minutes, m, that Sarah was out of the room, and then find the value of m.

OpenStudy (luffingsails):

So, a question. In two minutes how much liquid goes into the beaker?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Baisically Yes

OpenStudy (luffingsails):

Now I was asking to tell me. Because if you can, then you are almost at the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

148

OpenStudy (luffingsails):

74 ml of liquid * 2 minutes = 148 ml of liquid. right! So, the question leaves time as the variable but gives us both of the other terms. 74 * m = 1850 solve and done.
