I don't understand this please help me??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know A is given but would I write given? Or would I write?..... Please help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what don't you understand? That way I can help you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well a is given right @katti ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, A= 40. B is also given.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would write 40 or given one of my friends told me to just write given?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both would work :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the rest I feel clueless @katti

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, supplementary angles has add up to 180. So 40+140 would have to equal 180.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And they also are the same-side interior angles. So If they do add up to 180, because they are same-side interior, the lines A and B are parallel.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes ok @katti I think I'm understanding so far.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kk, is there anything that you still are confused about?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well for c, and C would be supplementary angles because =180? I hope you don't mind helping me through all the way. @katti

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not at all! Supplementary angles are 2 angles that were added up and they equaled 180 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So c therefore would be supplementary?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same for d?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are we doing it right it says... State the missing reasons in this flow proof. So far I got a.40, or given. b 140 or given, c. Supplementary angles D. Supplementary angles?@katti

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@sleepyjess @iGreen can you guys help check?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! sorry, uhh...for D, it would be that the angles are same side interior. They are both inside the 2 line and on the left side of the intercepting line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about e?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u helpme

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because angle 5 and 2 are supplementary and same-side interior, the lines A and B are parallel.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what would end up being @katti

OpenStudy (anonymous):

E??* @katti
