HELP ASAP! Can someone tell me how you find the scale factor of an object and how to find the dimensions of a scaled object?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if you need to fine the scale factor, then you should have at least two numbers. the smaller one (unit) would be the scaled version, then you compare it to the bigger number (by unit again) and then fine the unit rate. This should be how you find the scale factor, at least it's how I do it

OpenStudy (liv1234):

I have two numbers 33 and 79 what should I do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what are the units? Those are the most important part

OpenStudy (liv1234):

inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

both of them?!

OpenStudy (liv1234):

yes..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what part are you trying to find here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to find the scaled factor, or the dimensions of the object

OpenStudy (liv1234):

Dimensions of the object

OpenStudy (liv1234):

@okayd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok back sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what's the scale? there has to be one or at least something else, or else this wouldn't be possible.
