And just in case you forgot some rules, here:

* Periods and commas always go inside the quotation marks.

Example: The sign said, "Walk." Then it said, "Don't Walk," then, "Walk," all within thirty seconds. He yelled, "Hurry up."

* Quotations within quotations use single quotation marks (')

Example: She said, "Paula screamed and said, 'Don't break up with me' "

* Either quotation marks or italics are customary for titles (e.g., movie titles, book titles, etc..)

* When quoted material runs more than one paragraph, start each new paragraph with opening quotation marks, but do not use closing quotation marks until the end of the passage.

Example:

He wrote: "I used to like cats, but now I don't  I really used to like them but it's that....

                 "Now, I don't even try."
