Hey guys, I have a question.
What is it?
Why does chat have the ability to delete and questions don't??
Well because people could ask test questions, and then delete their questions to try to remove any evidence.
Questions have values. They contain medals.
Questions can be reffered back to :)
As for chats, no one really goes back to it. Chats are in the present. People can search stuff, but they will not find anything that happened in the chats like 2 years ago. Also people can search questions and find a link to it.

for future reference
If you want to delete a post, ask a moderator.
Also, moderators can see everything that was deleted from a post, to a reply, to a chat message. Everything is archived.
OH, idk what im sayin xDDDD i ment why cant you edit comments like the question.
Because people can say a direct answer and then edit it so no one can see it.
@Great_And_Powerful
except mods tho
Yes.
You can edit the main question, however.
Comment edits have been suggested multiple times
They should be implemented with a "Past Edits" feature, which lets anyone see what the post said before it was edited.
It should*
See what I mean? .-.
Yeah I see. :)
