Which answer choice does not contain any capitalization errors? A. "You are mistaken," Jack disagreed. "they absolutely want you here." B. Terry added, "there is a large plastic flamingo on the lawn." C. "I won't forget to feed the dog," Helen promised. D. "I would love to come," she said, "But I have to finish my project."

I think its between C and D

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

This one is rather difficult, but I am here to help. I know it is not D because if a direct quotation is interrupted mid-sentence, you shouldn't capitalize the second part of the quotation. So the correct sentence would actually be: "I would love to come," she said, "but I have to finish my project."

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

So we know it's not D.

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

I am stuck between B and C, but I think C would be the safest choice. Good luck, I hope you get an A+!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

You're very welcome.

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I agree with C, anyways.
