29x201/x=33

OpenStudy (inowalst):

\[29\times \frac{ 201 }{ x }=33\] I subtracted 29 from both sides.. \[\frac{ 201 }{ x }=14\]

hmm... if it's multiplication and you want to move it on the right side, you have to divide it on both sides so that it will cancel out from the left side. The easiest way to evaluate this is to remove the fraction first. Do that by multiplying x on both sides. so you'll end up with: 29 * 201 = 33x evaluate 29*201 then divide both sides by 33
