Flu, measles and the common cold are all viruses. Viruses can be cured with vaccines. Other examples of viruses are AIDS, influenze and hepatitis. Bacterial infections can be treated with antibiotics. Bacterial dieseases are ones like a sore throat, cholera and tuberculosis. The neat thing about bacteria is that not alll bacteria, unlike viruses, are harmful. And they play important roles in our everyday life, they help us digest food make some food like breads and yogurt and help us clean up huge oil spills like the gulf of mexico spill in 2010.
