The area of the base of a prism is 21 cm2. The perimeter of the base is 20 cm. The height of the prism is 8 cm. What is the surface area of the prism?
they are all squared
whats the formula?
what kind of prism box? cylinder?triangle?
it just says prism
well its a guess trial and error with each shape
well ill take a box and try it
i got 202cm i found a formula 2x Area of base + perimeter of base x 8
what is the formula for a right triangle?
prism
can you help me with this? What is the surface area of the prism? A. 138 yd2 B. 192 yd2 C. 264 yd2 D. 272 yd2 http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1422500_1423000/1422987/1/37d5308c403b03a44be0491b7c49a3b51e326cb0/MS_PA_131002_171346.jpg
base 7*3 =21 as given 3+7+3+7 =20perimeter as given height =8 given so look at drawing (8*3) two of them (7*8) two of them do you want to add top and bottom??
