WILL FAN AND MEDAL Identify the independent and dependent variables. Eman is conducting an experiment to see how much sugar will dissolve in water as the temperature of the water is increased. A. The independent variable is the temperature of the water, and the dependent variable is the amount of sugar dissolved. B. The independent variable is the amount of sugar dissolved, and the dependent variable is the temperature of the water.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it is A because the temperature is independent because the temp is increased while the amount of sugar you put in stays the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

amout of sugar is independent or dependent? @BIGDADDY69420

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this question is of which subject?

OpenStudy (_fluffeh_):

Math @lall

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it is dependent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it is depending on something else to change

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the temperature is not depending on anything else!

OpenStudy (_fluffeh_):

Thank you for your help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are very welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there any change in temperature of water if you add glucose to water?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

&on adding sugar, is ther any temp. change?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BIGDADDY69420

OpenStudy (_fluffeh_):

No there wouldn't be a temperature change just by adding sugar. If he is making the temperature go up to make the sugar dissolve then he wouldnt really need to change the temperature.
