In your own words, explain how the changes in the temperature of ocean water causes movement of ocean water from one place to another.

As cold waters move upwards, warm waters move in to replace them at the deeper layers, where cooler temperatures cause warm waters to cool and become more dense. Salt also makes water more denser.
