I have understood fundamentals of electric circuits with the help of fundamentals of electric circuits by hayt. but i am not able to understand electronics. what advice do u have for me? please help me!

OpenStudy (kenljw):

The understanding of any subject takes time, line by line, precept upon precept. In electronics your first learn passive components, resistors, capacitors, inductor, along with voltage and current sources with all the basic characteristics. You learn how they all interact with each other forming intricate model for circuitry. You learn Loop/Mesh and Nodal analysis to analyze circuits and eventually construct them. Then you learn about electronics devices such a semi conductors diodes, transistors, SSR, and the like to gain knowledge how further to control voltages and currents with in a circuit. Then you may go into design of IC or just how to use them in a circuit. There's a difference between being able to use a semi conductor and really understanding how one is constructed and in semi conductor theory. Truthfully its a continuing process but each bit of knowledge usually come easier as you go along building on your previous knowledge.
