they sold 15 tickets ...t stands for the cost of the tickets 15t total sales were 810.75 so....15t = 810.75 divide both sides by 15 t = 810.75/15 t = 54.05 so each ticket sold for $ 54.05 lets check it.. 15(54.05) = 810.75 810.75 = 810.75 (correct)
