(a^2n - a^n - 6) / (a^n + 8) The 2n is in exponent form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That made no sense whatsoever.

Nnesha (nnesha):

that's exponent rule

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You still didn't make any sense.

Nnesha (nnesha):

nvm

Nnesha (nnesha):

\[\huge\rm \frac{ a^{2n}-a^n -6 }{ a^n + 8 }\] this is your question right so a^2n -a^n - is a quadratic equation so just factor that find two number if you multiply you should get constant which is -6 and if you add or subtract them you should get middle number which is -1
