It looks like you want to find the length of arc XPY. You are given the degree measurement for arc XY of 90 degrees. So the degree measurement of XPY will be 360 -90 = 270 degrees. The circumference of a circle is 2*pi*radius. There are 360 degrees to a circle. So now make a proportion. arc XPY 270 ------ = ----- 2*pi*6 360 Now just cross multiply and divide by the third number.
