68 dusty Best Response Medals 1 Nationalism was one of the reasons people started to imperialize, and when ever a coubtry starts to imperialize it often show the political and the military power of a country. Africa is a great example of this, chinais another example with the foriegn influences and the spheres of influenes, and lastly is the negative effect, when russia lost the the Russo-Japanesse War, the people of Russia were not proud to be Russian because Russia became the FIRST "white" nation to lose to an "asian" nation in the world. With this lost the throne of the czar was beganin to loosen, and later one it would be abbicated.
