Open Study has an owl for their logo, nothing wrong with that, owls are intelligent. I was thinking though, people who are in school have to get up early and as the saying goes "The early bird gets the worm" I don't know... Its probably my nighttime brain thinking, at the end of the day it (my brain) turns to mush.

Owls have a bit of association with wisdom and being learned in some societies.  They are simply taking advantage of that.
