@KyanTheDoodle
Which sentence is correctly punctuated? A. It had been a very long trip, and she was glad to be back home at last. B. It had been a very long trip and she was glad to be back home at last. C. It had been a very long trip, and, she was glad to be back home at last. D. It had been a very long trip and, she was glad to be back home at last.
Ideas?
And tell me what you think..
The answer is actually A. B is run on without the comma. C has too many commas. D has the comma in the wrong spot. In these kinds of sentences, the comma always goes after the first independent clause but before the conjunction.
@mastermindkakashi is correct.
