Well, being that you're trying to find how many bags that Silas is bringing total, B is your best bet because to get x by itself, you would have to do the inverse to a number. So if you use x-12=10, you would have to add 12 to both sides, thus canceling the 12, and giving you 22 on the other side, giving you x=22
