Cora is graphing the equation y = 12x. She has placed a point on the origin and uses the slope to find 2 more points. Which points does Cora plot on her graph? Choose exactly two answers that are correct. A. (−1, −12) B. (−12, −1) C. (1, 12) D. (12, 1)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

you could always just sub in your points from the answer choices and see which ones are correct. I will do the first one for you... y = 12x using points (-1,-12)...x = -1 and y = -12 now we sub -12 = 12(-1) -12 = -12 -- correct...so this is one of the points used. Now see what you can do with the other answer choices :)
