@confluxepic

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

A = 1/2bh 270 = 1/2(30) * h 270 = 15h 270/15 = h 18 = h so in the larger triangle, b = 30 and h = 18 30/5 = 6....so the scale factor is 6/1 so the base of large triangle is 30.....and the base of small triangle is 5... and the height of large triangle is 18...then the base of small triangle would be 3 so the small triangle has a base of 3 and a height of 5 A = 1/2bh A = 1/2(3)(5) A = 1/2(15) A = 7.5 cm^2 ----> area of small triangle

btw i added the squares myself

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

16/4 = 3215.36/x cross multiply 16x = (3215.36)(4) 16x = 12861.44 x = 12861.44/16 x = 803.84 in^3
