Will give medal!! What does it mean to express your answer in the lowest term when dealing with fractions?

Say when you have 2/4 and 2 is half of 4.  Which means you round it to 1/2.  Lowest term is basiclly rounding off.

Sure, I'll have to think of a way to explain it.  To reduce a fraction to lowest terms, find the largest number that will divide evenly into both the numerator and the denominator. (Reducing the fraction will not change its value; the reduced fraction will be an equivalent.)  If I still need to explain it more I will
