We need to find the interest that shes gonna pay after one year and to do that we have to multiply 3% times the amount borrowed...but first we have to convert the percentage into a number like i did above...
So 0.03 x 400 = 12
So she is going to have to pay back the total amount ($400) plus ($12)...
