so since ive been suspended before does that mean i can no longer gain smartscore?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

You will still be able to gain smartscore, many people have gotten warnings and suspensions when they were new because they didn't know the rules. But they have all increased their SmartScore... So the answer is no to your question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay but it makes it harder or what? because i was talking to another guy and he said it effects your ability to get smartscore

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@e.mccormick said "I do not do suspend requests or remove them. They damage your ability to gain smart score and it is easy to make another account, so I see no point to doing on request suspensions." And i just made me think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it does slow it down ive been suspended alot and ive been stuck on 59 for awhile my friend told me it just makes it harder to build ss

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

It doesn't make it harder, your ss just went down a bit. A suspension doesn't "slow down" the gaining of ss.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Suspensions do slow down your SS.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

They slow it, but it does not remove the ability to gain it. But it will only slow it if you have gotten TOO MANY suspensions and also their DURATION are taken into affect on the scale.
