What is m∠HLG? http://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1561000_1561500/1561013/2/8009f4278b1edf64791cbd84b703ce3334826cda/MS_IMC-1401104-109026.jpg

OpenStudy (thefurball):

im using < for the angle symbol m<ILG = m<HLG + m<ILG you also know that m<ILG is a right angle. it's given that m<HLG = 9m and m<ILH is (25m + 22) knowing that, how can you solve for m?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm still kinda confused

OpenStudy (thefurball):

ok, so since ILG is a right angle, its measure is 90 degrees. It is also equal to the combination of HLG and ILH therefore, ILH + HLG = 90 (25m + 22) + 9m = 90

oh okay

OpenStudy (thefurball):

Got it? Awesome (:
