OpenStudy (anonymous):

cab anybody help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill give medal and fan

OpenStudy (kropot72):

How many numbers are there on the cube that are greater than 2? When you have this number, divide it by the possible number of outcomes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so there are 4 numbers greater than two and there are six outcomes right

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im still confused i got 1r2

OpenStudy (kropot72):

How did you get that? It is not the result of dividing 4 by 6.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats why im asking for help. i dont know how to do it.

OpenStudy (kropot72):

\[\large \frac{4}{6}=?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 20

OpenStudy (kropot72):

How did you get 20?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no wait i got 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i divided 4 by 6 got 2 added a zero at the end and divided 4 by 20 and got 5=15

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Are you calculating mentally, or are you using a calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 4

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Just to check on your method, please tell me how many lots of 6 are in 12.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2

OpenStudy (kropot72):

That is correct, there are 2 lots of 6 in 12. But earlier you effectively put that there are 2 lots of 6 in 4. "i divided 4 by 6 got 2......... "

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wat do u mean @kropot72, what is the full answer dang nab it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@LOLAri

OpenStudy (anonymous):
