I think I inquired about this a while ago, but links that provide answers without an explanation (for example, Yahoo Answers and Answers.com) aren't allowed, right? I see a lot of users thinking that giving links with direct answers are allowed and is not bypassing the CoC as they are "backed up by an external source". Does that make it ok?
well you can Say that yahho provides answers not explanation and this is considered as direct answers as you give links to asnerrs
you give links to answers which is direct answer giving
I tihnk it is okay to post os links ashere we dont direct answer
Well the problem with old os links is that the asker can just scroll down and take the answer on the bottom of the page.
If the link provided a direct answer report it
well the thing is we should not give out direct answers lets say if i'm explaining something and one of users post yahoo or other link that is same as explanation + direct answer (that's what i think)
I see what you mean. :O :)
or os links*
So how do I tell those users? Like they say it's not against the CoC.
Did you see e.mmc's post?
^ Oh you mean Thomaster's post? Yes, but I'm having trouble thinking of how to explain \(how\) it's against the CoC. xD
