So, quick question about my physics lab. My physics lab was a centripetal force experiment. We have four total givens. The total mass of the trolley that was on the spinning track, the total hanging mass, the radius of the spinning track, and angular velocity. I'm supposed to find Force MRw^2 and Force mg. Am I literally just supposed to plug in my givens for this? Like add up the total weight between both the trolley and hanging mass, and then plug the rest in? Should I make a force diagram as well?

an accurate diagram would be extremely helpful

sorry, i was addressing this: ""Should I make a force diagram as well? "" i do not recognise the machine, someone else might, but a force diagram would help and might even be appreciated as part of your solution.
