HELP PLEASEE!!!!!! :( Write an indirect proof proving only one angle of an obtuse triangle is greater than 90°.

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

@kidrah69 @sleepyjess @Nnesha @Jamierox4ev3r anybody? :'(

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

@sleepyjess yes u start with the opposite and prove that it's wrong

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

@EclipsedStar ?

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

i didnt kno she was on :O

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Assume we have an obtuse triangle. That means it has an angle that is obtuse...or greater than 90 degrees. What if our triangle has 2 angles greater than 90 degrees? If we add these 2 angles together, we would get a sum greater than 180 degrees. But that is impossible, since all 3 angles of a triangle must add up to 180. It is impossible for 2 angles in a triangle to sum to a total greater than 180. Therefore, only 1 angle in a triangle can be obtuse.

@EclipsedStar OMG!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO SO MUCH!!!!!!! i'll return the favor maybe :P

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Hahaha no problem. XD

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

:))) i've been working on this problem since this morning but i couldnt figure it out :/ thanks to you now i'll get a good grade :D u r awesome!!!! <3

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Thanks! :D

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

I can't really help out with a lot of math though... :'(

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

awhh well if there is any math that u can't help den there's a problem with the problem ^_^ :P and i just love i get stuck in most of it :P so u r not alone :3

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

I see! ^_^~

OpenStudy (godlovesme):

XP i better get going now ttyl :) have a good day thanks again ^_^

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):
