Please help!!!
my freshman writing class requires me to write a 10-12 page reasearch essay and must include at least 5 sources. I choose to write about the development of biotech in food processing throughout history. I am having trouble finding sources. Can anyone who has written essays on similar topics direct me to relevant materials？The sources cannot be very technical, i.e., has to be understandable by the general public. the bibliography is due monday, so PLEASE HELP!!!

Actually looks like these are not what I am looking for. I want to take a historical approach, like how did biotech in food industry developed to its current stage, what are the major changes, how did these changes happen, etc.

You should look for review articles on the subject, these often describe the full scope of the development over time. The problem is that they might describe only one aspect of biotechnology (i.e. one method) and whole the entire picture.

You can use google scholar, but it's better if, through school, you have access to search engines with academic journals. In which case i would use science direct or web of science
